Command staff are departmental administrative and supervisory staff positions. The Command Staff includes the EMS Director, Medical Director, Operations Coordinator, Office Coordinator, Education Coordinator, Field Supervisors, and Team Leads.

 

EMS Director

        

Jeremy McKim, Paramedic

The EMS Director leads the EMS Department and is responsible for all aspects of the department including operations, revenue cycle management, education, community relations, and working with community partners.

 

Medical Director

Paul Fleming, M.D.

The Medical Director provides leadership in clinical quality of operations and education.

 

Operations Coordinator

Mike Carson, Paramedic

The Operations Coordinator is a leadership role responsible for the logistics of staff scheduling, vehicle maintenance, equipment maintenance, supplies, and monitoring electronic resources.

 

Field Supervisors

Field Supervisors are responsible for day-to-day shift management, and providing guidance to Team Leads.

Team leads complete tasks as assigned by the Field Supervisors and serve as a conduit between the field staff and leadership.

Office Coordinator

Tina Alvey, EMT

The Office Coordinator is a leadership role for making sure patient transports have the necessary documentation for submission to the third-party billing company.

 

Education Coordinator

Mike Hunter, Paramedic

The Education Coordinator is a leadership role for developing and delivering clinical continuing education and primary education courses such as EMT, AEMT, Paramedic courses. The Education Coordinator serves as the Program Director for the CAAHEP accredited Paramedic education program. This role is also responsible for all clinical quality improvement activities of the department.
